Located next to Cerro Picacho and Cerro La Laguna, it offers a great place for a family trip with kayaking, hiking trails up to Picacho&#8217;s top, and great food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a good place for camping, but be warned of the strong winds that can tear down your tents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has clean bathhouses, and the place is managed by the community, so you\u2019ll need to bring cash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can arrive by driving towards Coronado and turning right at Las Lajas gas station. It\u2019s a pretty straightforward drive until the pavement changes to a dirt road, and then you have to drive about 8-10 minutes to the entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They close the doors at 6:00 pm and do not allow car access in or out after that time.
